The KS3 Science Passport is a structured programme where students complete a series of practical science investigations while developing key scientific enquiry skills. As students progress through the programme, they record their achievements in their own Science Passport.
What is the Science Passport?
The KS3 Science Passport is a practical science programme designed to help students develop the skills they need to succeed in science.
Students take part in hands-on investigations that develop their ability to plan experiments, collect data and interpret results.
Each completed investigation contributes towards their Science Passport, which records the scientific skills they have developed.
The programme is designed to:
• Build confidence in practical science

• Prepare students for GCSE science
How the Science Passport works?
Step 1
Book a place using the online booking form.
Step 2
Attend small-group practical science sessions.
Step 3
Carry out investigations and develop core scientific skills.

Record progress in the KS3 Science Passport.
Step 5
Work towards completing the full Science Passport.
Students progress through the programme by completing practical investigations and demonstrating key scientific skills.
